The accommodation was great for one night. We had two rooms with private bathrooms. It was simple but very clean, and the breakfast was much better than expected. The value for money was excellent. The place is a bit old. The location is central by car, but sleeping there is very noisy because of the street and the train.

It was a truly Swiss hotel. The building is a bit older but nicely decorated in its Swiss style. The room was very spacious with everything you need, still very Swiss. For me it was a stopover, but for exploring the Emmental it’s a good starting point. The dinner was lovely and the breakfast simple but sufficient.

The rooms were large, the bed was good, the staff were friendly, and check‑in and check‑out were simple. The breakfast was good. The furnishings, except for the bathroom, were a bit old, but everything was very clean.
