The first impression was simply “Wow.” Gabriele welcomed us warmly and escorted us to our apartment, which we were also very impressed with. The property is unique! You feel relaxed right away and enjoy nature. In the mornings and evenings you hear the bucking deer, owls, and we even spotted a badger. The only thing Bologna lacks is decent bread, which Gabriele can’t fix. Otherwise breakfast was lovingly prepared, with fresh fruit and homemade cake. We are more of a savory breakfast crowd, which is the only small critique. So we’ll come back—maybe with Austrian bread. Nothing negative; everything was perfect.
