Willowbank Hotel

The location is good, the price reasonable, and it was comfortable to stay. The shower was very hot. The staff were very helpful, and one gentleman stayed on for us because we were late due to flight delays. It’s a bit dated, but otherwise fine.

“We wouldn’t book here again if in the area, but the people staffing the hotel, particularly the Breakfast Chef and staff”

The location is good, and the staff—especially the amazing guy taking breakfast orders—made the breakfast the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed meeting the coach people who were there a week before we arrived. The bedrooms and shower areas are only for single use, which was disappointing, because the name Willowbank Hotel sounds so lovely.

“It is not the most most up to date hotel but the staff were brill and the bed was comfy”

It’s dated but feels like being at your granny’s, and the staff were amazing. Honestly, I wouldn’t pay £15 for breakfast. We stayed two nights because we were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel; the rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff were brilliant.

The location is good. The food was average and the staff were not welcoming.

“Lovely would stay again and recommend to others”

The breakfast was traditional English and very nice. There was nothing negative about our stay; we were very happy.
