The rooms here have a nice style, and the garden's a relaxing spot. One downside is that it's pretty dark, but overall it's a calm place to stay.
“Worthy hotel”
This hotel's a cut above the average Egyptian hotel, with plenty of hot water and nice touches like a kettle on request. Mr Mohamad at the front desk was super helpful and spoke great English. The WiFi's okay in the lobby, and the courtyard grill is a nice touch. That being said, it would've been nice to have a heater in the room, and breakfast got a bit repetitive.
I had a really bad experience here. The room was dirty and freezing, with no proper heating. The booking process was also a mess, with unclear charges and extra fees. I ended up paying $185 for two nights, even though I'd agreed on $140. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the room was a letdown - the carpet was dirty and old, and the bedding was worn out. The air conditioning didn't work great, and there were ants all over the bed and pillows. Oh, and WiFi was only available at the front desk.
