The location was lovely and secluded, the room was clean and well presented, and the check‑in and check‑out instructions sent by email were clear. However, the listing correctly listed what was available in the room and the shared separate toilet/shower facilities on the website, but milk was missing – no milk, tea bags, coffee, or sugar – so we had to leave after a long, tiring journey to find a shop. The hosts should consider putting milk in the fridge or providing long‑life milk sachets for arriving guests. Another issue was that the TV was internet‑only with no aerial and no instructions were provided; after about 20 minutes of trying, we couldn’t get anything working and gave up. The hosts should leave clear printed instructions on how to connect the TV to the internet, as not everyone is tech savvy.

The rural setting was lovely, the hosts were helpful, and the bed was comfortable.

The room was tiny for me and my 75‑kilogram dog, and the TV did not work properly.

The location was lovely, very calming and relaxing, and it was perfect for what I wanted; there were no negatives.
