Great location next to the ocean and quieter beaches. Only 5 minutes by bus (which picks you up out the front of the accommodation) to the village or 15 minutes walk up the hill with great views of the surrounding islands and beaches. The host was super welcoming and friendly, giving the place a homely feel.

We loved the traditional experience of staying in a Japanese house. The host’s attention to detail was outstanding. All our needs were taken care of. Everything you need was available—snorkels, towels, etc. The meals were so impressive. We were so happy to have breakfast there and chat with some other Japanese guests about their experiences. This experience was way better than staying in a hotel because you get a glimpse of Japanese life. The host looked after us so well.

I highly recommend this guesthouse, great value for money! The room is nice and our host adorable. The sink is outside and the shower is separate, but honestly everything is comfortable and cozy. It doesn’t depend on the establishment, just a tip: it’s better to have a motorized vehicle to access the place (there are scooter or bike rentals at the port).

Super host!! Very sweet, friendly and helpful. The room and stay are fully equipped. Delicious food and the option to rent swim/snorkel gear is a big plus!

Shota and his mother took care of us superbly. We had breakfast and dinner there every day, and the food was amazing while the vibe with other guests was great. Arigatoooooo!!
