I stayed just a corner away from the square, which was convenient, but the furnishings felt quite dated.

The website claimed there was a bike rental on site, yet the hotel actually had no rental service; the nearest one was 1.5 km away, which was inconvenient because we had booked the hotel under the assumption that bikes were available, so it felt deceptive.

The hotel sits right in the middle of town and is surprisingly quiet, housed in a charming old building with parking right out front and a solid shower. Check‑in was a hassle though – nobody was there when we arrived even though we’d called ahead, so we ended up waiting. The décor feels dated, the carpets could use a new look, and the towels were old and smelled a bit musty. Also, the gate is stiff and hard to shut.

A lovely, peaceful spot right in the city centre and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, which was handy. The beds, however, were far from comfortable – the mattresses were saggy and the bedding felt rough. There’s also more furniture than you really need, making the room feel cramped. Otherwise it’s a quiet place.

The apartment is in a great location and looks nice inside. Cleaning could be a bit better – there were a few spots that seemed missed. Overall, a decent base for exploring the area.
