I liked the place – it’s a huge house – but the service was awful and the internet connection was terrible.

The cottage is truly excellent – gorgeous inside and out, very well equipped and thoughtfully designed. We chose it as a base for trips to Częstochowa, Vilnius, and Troków, but it could also serve as a main attraction for the day – the surroundings are so pleasant that staying on site to relax is worthwhile. I definitely recommend it!

“Beautiful location with great potential, but unfortunately the lack of proper maintenance significan”

The property sits in a beautiful, peaceful natural setting surrounded by many lakes, and the location itself is lovely with great potential. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found the house wasn’t properly prepared: the shower on the second floor was broken and still being fixed, and the next morning a water leak flooded the first floor because the shower repair was unfinished. Maintenance responded after we reported it. There was mold around the kitchen sink, some plates were broken or cracked at the joints, some lights didn’t work, and the furniture was quite old. Overall, the house needs significant maintenance and attention to detail. We had high expectations, so it was disappointing that they weren’t met. The place has potential, especially given its beautiful location, but without proper upkeep it falls short of other places we’ve stayed at.

The accommodation is fully equipped for comfortable living, with very clean, high‑quality bedding and a pleasant interior. There are activities on the property: a volleyball court, a tennis court, and you can fish in the lake. You can also rent kayaks. Overall, it’s very good. The hosts often violate guests’ privacy – they come when they need something (we were woken at 08:30 by a knock on the door with no particular reason, just to ask a few trivial questions). I wish they wouldn’t interrupt a meal just to bring firewood or put it in the stove. The hosts should also improve navigation on the complex – the area is huge and it’s hard to find the houses; there are signs, but some are hard to see or have faded over time. They should also point the way out of the complex with arrows.
