“Wirklich toll und erholsam”

The hotel is small and lovely, right on the water with a private entrance that lets you take a walk around the lake early in the morning. If that’s not your thing, there’s a large pool on the property. Breakfast is excellent and is refilled until the last minute. There are various types of sausage and cheese, vegetables, rolls, and Hungarian specialties. Coffee is freshly ground from a machine. In the afternoon you can buy snacks in a small shop by the lawn, and chilled drinks are also available. Our family room was great – two connected rooms and two bathrooms. Parking is available inside and outside the property.

The hotel has its own beach and pool. It’s not friendly to cyclists because there’s no bike storage.

The location is great because it’s on the waterfront. The balcony attached to the room was unusably dirty, the windows offered almost no view, and it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. The fridge in the room was moldy. There were no mosquito nets in several places. The staff seemed clueless, never tidied up, and the sidewalk was littered. The pool was handed over with a broken paddle after an hour of finding a lock‑key; the jacuzzi stairs were unusable and dangerous, and the water was dirty. There’s no proper bike storage even though it’s advertised. The steamer wasn’t covered.

The location is dreamy right on the lake with its own lake access on a quiet side street. Breakfast was plentiful, coffee selection good, juices. Fresh items in warming containers gave good variety daily. The breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. Free parking. The room cleaning didn’t work well; the ladies from housekeeping were often seen sitting in the lobby. One of our rooms was cleaned daily, the other only from the third day after we asked, then only every second day, supposedly normal. Small spiders were in the room and had to be removed daily. The toilet lid was obviously defective, only loosely held, and wasn’t fixed despite daily bathroom cleaning. The fridge was quite loud and disturbed me at night. The safe with a number lock was unusable; you only got the key after asking. The sauna wasn’t heated, partly blocked by a board. In the evenings there was no cozy seating inside; the breakfast room existed but was forbidden to use at night. The reception had a few seats but never felt cozy, and no one ever sat there. Reception was only sometimes staffed, not very engaged; they tried but couldn’t create a good atmosphere. Overall, overpriced for what was offered.

The location with its own lake access is very nice. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast lacks variety and needs real improvement. The coffee is awful. Our toilet smelled like feces on the second day. It was quickly treated only with Domestos, but a professional should look into it because the problem reappears after a few days.
