The owner and the staff are especially friendly. The room is spacious with a heavenly freestanding bath and a very comfortable bed.

“Excellent and wish I could have stayed longer.”

The property is excellent, clean, and has a huge bath. Room number 5 is huge. Amenities like tea, coffee, water, milk, and a pod machine are lovely. They were helpful with luggage, parking is easy and plenty, the restaurant food was amazing, drinks wonderful, and the staff are incredible with service and quickness. There was also great attention to detail in the food. The only comment is that it was brilliant.

“An unexpected comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay-Thank You!”

I booked on speculation because my grandson and I were heading to The Goodwood Revival the following day, and The Percy Arms turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The place is nice, the staff are excellent, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Dinner was enjoyable overall, though my steak—though pricey—was cooked rarer than medium. The other courses were good, and the South African wines paired perfectly. We missed a proper breakfast because we left early before the staff arrived, but the chef kindly gave us a takeaway breakfast that would have gotten us across the high Veldt. A great shower capped off an otherwise pleasant stay.

“Excellent pub. Excellent food. Excellent staff”

The room was excellent with excellent en-suit facilities, just a small staircase and straight into the bar area. The evening meal was on the outside terrace ( very hot weather at the time) and was exceptional. The breakfast we had was full English and was very enjoyable. This was our second stay and we would definitively stay again. N/A
