I stayed in a beautiful place that’s perfect for travelers seeking calm and relaxation, tucked away from the bustle of the Algarve yet still a great base for exploring the coast and towns by car. The pool area was lovely, with no fighting over loungers, a fridge stocked with drinks and ice, and a grill available for a usage fee. I could pick my own fruit from the trees—figs were ripe. My room, the Suite da Janela, was spacious, high‑quality, and featured a fantastic walk‑in shower and charming bathroom tiles. The kitchenette had a well‑proportioned fridge, a small stove, and a Nespresso machine. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The host, Claudine, was very friendly, happy to give restaurant suggestions or trip tips, and even handled reservations if needed. Lidl and Aldi were just a few minutes’ drive away, and there were plenty of parking spots at the property. The only notes: you must rent a car, and remember that the Suite da Janela is the bedroom on the first floor with the bathroom on the ground floor.

The location is great and the rooms are tidy; if you’re after peace, this is a fantastic spot. However, the complex could use a bit more vibe—there was a lack of chemistry between guests and the host, and a casual chat or a small gathering when everyone was present would have added a nice touch.
