Amethyst Hotel Chiang Mai

The staff and the hotel owner were simply amazing, constantly going above and beyond; even though we were the only guests, the women served us a different Thai tradition each morning, always asked if we wanted anything special and seemed to read our wishes from our lips, treating us with genuine warmth and a family feel; the location sits a bit away from the hustle, but the Grab taxi never gave us any trouble, we stayed in two large, beautifully decorated rooms, and throughout the day we had free drinking water, coffee, tea, fruit and ready‑made meals available.

Very quiet and peaceful spot with a shop very close by. Jit speaks good English and is very welcoming. I will be returning.

The reception was fine and the location worked well for us, especially since we moved around on a locally rented scooter; the only drawback was the pool pump that ruined the experience by making the filter system noisy, so it was hard to relax by the beautiful pool.
