I liked the location and the ability to check in early, but there are several things to improve. We stayed in a room on floor 0 and had no signal or Wi‑Fi, plus the room was very dark. Also, the price per night was not cheap, the bathroom had no ventilation, and the breakfast offered very little variety.

Everything was fine. A quiet hotel, clean and tidy, and breakfast was nice.

David welcomed us and made us feel at home; he checked in daily and asked how we were doing. The rest of the staff were also friendly. The location was ideal, just 5 minutes from the Royal Mile. The entire hotel was spotless—thanks to the cleaning crew! Breakfast was tasty and generous. However, there were no electrical outlets in the bathroom, only two in the room, none near the bed, and the nearest one for the coffee machine required placing the machine on the floor. One side of the bed had a USB/C port, the other side had none. The bed was too small for two people, and if one person is large it was uncomfortable.

Typical British lunch, not a fan of eggs, bacon, or sausages for breakfast. Other food is something you have to accept when traveling in another country, but the breakfast cereals were good. I refer to my earlier reply. Otherwise, I can recommend the hotel.
