The beds were the most comfortable I've slept on, and the room stayed quiet so I slept so well, which is crucial for me. The hotel sits on a pleasant street in a great spot near the Seine, the Louvre, Le Bon Marché, the Serge Gainsbourg Museum, and a metro stop, plus plenty of shops and restaurants. The air conditioning kept the room pleasantly cool.

The reception staff were unhelpful at check‑in and especially at check‑out; at check‑in they were completely indifferent, and at check‑out they became confrontational (when I asked about the large charge, the employee stood up from his chair and started flexing his arms like a fighter in a gym).

The stay was exactly what I had imagined Paris to be. The staff were outstanding and always ready to help, while the management were engaging; when we were waiting for an evening taxi, they asked if we wanted pre‑drinks, which was a nice touch. On Saturday we returned early afternoon because of heavy rain, got soaked, and they served fresh coffee and cakes – another thoughtful gesture. The boutique hotel’s rooms are spacious, and the different sized doors in the old building add a quirky charm. Breakfast was well priced, with plenty of food per person at our table. The location is ideal for strolling around that part of the city, where restaurants, bars, antique shops, clothing stores, and outdoor cafés abound, and the streets feel safe. We were only 10 minutes from the Louvre, which says a lot. As habitual travelers, we love finding a little gem and coming back. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the linen impeccably clean, and the whole experience was delightful. Thanks to Julien and the rest of the team for making it memorable. No complaints at all.

The room was super quiet, super clean, and super comfortable. The shower had fantastic water pressure, and the Clarins toiletries were lovely.
