“Gîte normand de charme”
The welcome and stay were exceptional, a perfect starting point for exploring Normandy between Rouen and Paris. There are many gourmet restaurants nearby and lovely hikes. Philippe and his family are adorable, with an outstanding sense of connection and exchange. Thanks again for the advice, conversations, and discoveries. The place has real character, cozy and unpretentious. Ideal for a few relaxing days, the accommodation is often a victim of its own success. I echo previous comments—go for it! The only drawback is the mattress feels a bit soft for me and the steep ladder is difficult, especially for those with limited mobility.
