The area is very nice with beautiful buildings and surroundings. The main building has a restaurant with good food and a nice breakfast. Our room had bad beds; both of us got back pain because the bed sank. There was no nightstand, no carpet on the floor… a quiet and cramped room! The neighbor below had a dog left alone that barked for long periods.

The location and staff are great. The shower in the hot tub doesn’t work; if you want a shower instead of a hot tub, be sure to specify it! Getting in and out of the hot tub is a steep climb, and the handheld shower head makes the floor very wet and slippery.
Klockargården feels calm and cozy, and there was nothing negative to mention.

“Idyllic and beautiful”
A fantastic hotel in a gorgeous setting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and my room was very charming. It sits in the town centre, a 10‑minute walk from lake Siljan and a 25‑minute walk to the train station. I booked it because I was attending a concert at Dalhalla, and it was great that a concert bus picked up guests from the hotel. It’s a perfect choice for anyone heading to Dalhalla or just wanting to enjoy the Swedish countryside.
