“Beutiful place with friendliest people”

From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The property itself is beautiful—a traditional Indonesian house with stunning wooden furniture and plenty of well‑kept greenery outside. The room had everything we needed for a few days of exploring Yogya and its surroundings: clean, a very comfortable large bed, AC working well, and hot water always available in the shower. It’s close to the centre (just a short Grab ride from Malioboro) yet in a calm, quiet area so you can relax after the hustle and bustle of Yogya. We also spent nice time chatting with the locals, having tea, and enjoying ourselves. I can’t recommend it more! No complaints, it’s amazing.

The spot is convenient, within walking distance of the gudeg food center and Malioboro, and the Keraton sits right in front of the guesthouse. Everything was fine.

“Molto bene l'alloggio, meno la comunicazione”

The location was great. I didn’t like being told three hours before arrival that I couldn’t share a room with my partner because we weren’t married.

“I don’t recommend and won’t stay there again”

The place is well situated, the bed is comfortable, and the hot water works. They demanded an extra 100K for early check‑in even though I mentioned I’d only slept three hours before the official time. Every morning during my stay, renovation noise woke me up early. Guests should know they’re there to relax, not to be roused at dawn. They also insisted I keep the room impeccably clean in a way I’d never heard before, threatening to withhold my deposit or charge extra if I didn’t. When I entered, the sheets and bathroom were not clean.

“Won’t recommend”

The property sits in a very central spot, has a lovely courtyard and parking, and showcases typical Javanese architecture. The bathroom was in poor condition; the glass was not cleaned before check‑in and the soap dispenser had white scale.
