“Très bel endroit, mais manque d’informations pratiques”
The place is stunning, tucked into the mountains and kept immaculate by the villagers; it feels genuinely authentic and warm, with locals who are very kind and welcoming. The staff are friendly and hospitable, but the communication didn't always meet our expectations. We had to wash in cold water for three days without a clear explanation, and there was no information sheet in the room about services or transport options. It was our first mountain trip, and we would have appreciated better pre‑arrival guidance on the hotel’s access difficulties. No taxi would drop us straight to the high‑altitude hotel unless we paid a steep rate, so we spent over €300 on transport. With that information beforehand, we could have rented a car at the airport and avoided those extra costs.
