The room had a small microwave and coffee/tea supplies, the beds were comfortable, and you could sit on the terrace. We would have liked a toaster, though.

Getting in was easy, it’s close to the highway, and the owner was accommodating. The shower water temperature fluctuated a lot.

The motel‑style lodging had the typical pros and cons. The nightly rate was a plus, but the soundproofing between rooms was weak. Still, it’s an ideal spot for a few nights on Manitoulin Island. The place was spotless and the owners were very kind.

The staff were thoughtful and friendly, but the light bulbs needed replacement and we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the fan while keeping the lights on.
