“下次要再來住”

We arrived on the last ferry at 18:00, which meant we couldn’t dock at Tianjin Port and had to get off at a farther terminal; because we were overseas guests we couldn’t reach the hotel by phone, and every car‑rental shop and shop at the port was closed, so we lugged our luggage for a 40‑minute walk to the property. The staff were genuinely surprised to see us, squeezed out some Chinese and said “辛苦了!” which instantly made the long trek feel worthwhile, and the room turned out to be surprisingly spacious, comfortable and spotless. The front‑desk clerk was very friendly and put us at ease, and even though a storm kept us from touring the island that night, the next morning the gentleman at reception gladly drove us to the distant port and cheered us with “I’m ready!” before we left. We’re grateful for everything and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Niudao—perhaps the hotel could offer a temporary WhatsApp contact for foreign travelers.

“Very pleasant stay and absolutely love the place and the art works!”

The place feels very artsy, we adored the art pieces and the on‑site museum; everything was clean, new, and well designed. We especially enjoyed the ocean‑view family suite and the café. The downside is that we’re on the 2nd floor, so we had to haul our luggage up a flight of stairs—having a lift at the door would be better.
