The spot is spot-on in Bali—just rent a scooter or a driver and you’re set, tucked between beach, ocean, and rice fields, giving that secluded vibe away from the busy roads. The staff were fantastic, especially Ayu who looked after us. The downside was the beach littered with garbage; even though there’s a cleaning crew, it wasn’t spotless during our stay.

Paul was super friendly and made us feel at home, and the resort itself was quiet, far from the tourist hub, so we enjoyed a peaceful stay with few other guests. It’s right next to the beach. The only hiccup was needing a motorbike to get around (we rented one on site). Mosquitoes were a problem—maybe my blood type attracts them, especially near the open‑roof toilet—and the Wi‑Fi in our room was spotty, but we managed. The pool bar’s alcohol selection could use a refresh or a clean.

The location was perfect, peaceful with ocean sounds, great ambience, a cool pool, and lovely gardens. Nothing to complain about.

We were the only guests at the resort, which made the experience feel especially exclusive. The villas are nicely appointed and our 5‑year‑old daughter had a wonderful time. We booked a private snorkeling and dolphin tour through the hotel – highly recommended! The food was tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The resort is a bit out of Lovina, so you’ll need a driver or a scooter; Grab or Gojek are hard to find. It’s a 10‑minute walk to the main road, where you’ll find a handful of small warungs and two supermarkets.
