Penida Patio Hostel

“Un buon compromesso”

The hostel is convenient because of its location, the bed is comfortable, and there’s enough space to leave your stuff near the bed. It’s advantageous that you can change towels whenever you want. Arriving at the hostel can be confusing because the patio hosts diving lessons, and it seems the staff are more busy with that than welcoming guests. The doors are always open, there are no lockers for secure storage, so everything is left there hoping no one enters. The bathroom cleaning is subpar; often at night the toilet paper runs out and isn’t replaced.

“Perfect”

The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby. There was sand in the shower, but that’s to be expected in an island hostel.

“Didn’t feel safe.”

Honestly, this hostel wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t like that the dorm doors were sometimes left open during the day and that there were no locks. One morning I woke up to a stray dog in the room with infected eyes that I had to try to usher out, so I’d like the doors to be shut or locked. It felt somewhat clean. I felt very unsettled here; the staff who cleaned the dorms were unfriendly. There’s no common area, it’s a quiet hostel mainly for divers, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

“Einfach toll!”

What a great hostel! Beautiful, simple, and super comfortable beds. The showers are great, everything is super clean and pleasant. Unfortunately the café was closed.

Les sanitaires communs sont très modernes et très propres, les lits tops, avec des rideaux et petites étagères dans chaque lits. Il faut idéalement louer un scooter pour se déplacer ici mais c’est sûrement partout la même chose partout à Nusa Penida !
