The bed, pillows, and duvet were fantastic, and the room’s temperature was just right. The only downside was that the room, including the bathroom, felt too dark.

I was impressed by the modern facilities, the breakfast spread, and the courteous staff, especially Sofia who gave great tips on local activities. The hotel sits a 6‑minute walk from the train station and right in the heart of Bolzano, and the Sudtirol guest pass was handy for free buses and cable cars. It feels a bit pricier than my usual choices, but the location is unbeatable. During busy periods the front desk sometimes had only one person on duty, and it’s not open 24 hours, which might matter to some guests.
