A very unpleasant odor came from the air conditioner. There were two empty bottles in the apartment and used tissues.

The hotel sits right in the town center, close to the bus station, shops, and restaurants. Breakfast was diverse and freshly made, with tasty fruits and vegetables. No other hotel in Europe—despite my extensive travels—has ever asked me “How are you today?” I felt that if we had stayed a few more days, we would have become part of the friendly Narona Hotel family. I can’t think of anything that could have been better; the building’s socialist design and the meticulous cleanliness show that the staff take great pride in their work.
