The sisters were perfectly friendly and the exchanges were fascinating. The place was peaceful and only 5 minutes by car from restaurants. We’ll come back for a longer stay this time by bike.

Escaping winter in Poland, as every year I head to Spain, I always look forward to passing through France; each time I take a different route between Saarbrücken and Biarritz, and I always end up in great, genuine, natural spots in the French province. That was the case again in 2026.

The location was good for visiting the ponds and the communal kitchen. There was no communication: on day one breakfast was prepared, on day two only a box with bread and croissants was offered, and on day three I had to call to get it. For light, you have to ask because there’s no button for it.

No breakfast was offered. The lack of food services was mentioned in the description; Sonia was ill, but she and the staff should have been more proactive and let us know.
