The location is unbeatable with valley views, spacious rooms, and a large balcony; the caretaker did his best to keep us comfortable, and the place feels more like a serviced apartment. A small kitchenette would be useful since the nearest restaurant is 2.5 km away. The owners live in Kollam but are very helpful by phone. We loved the stay and it met all our needs; we’re already looking forward to visiting in winter. The only problem was finding a lizard in the room as we were leaving, the lack of a kitchenette, and some walls that need fresh paint (Vagamon gets a lot of rain). The location is a plus, but the nearest eateries are 6‑7 km away and the area is secluded, so you need to be aware of that.

Superb view, excellent homestay. Mr. Abi very helpful and co-operative. Manager very good man. No veg food available. No resturant. Stay excellent
