The accommodation was in a pretty awful state, with damp marks on the walls—totally unacceptable.
The room was comfortable with all the necessary gear, the bed was super cozy, and the reception staff were friendly.

The spot on rue de Rivoli scores a perfect 10/10 for location, with plenty of buzz around and public transport just steps away; the lift is a real bonus when lugging luggage, and the room, though a bit small, was comfy and spotlessly clean—highly recommended.

Check‑in went smoothly and our rooms were ready early, which was handy; the place was exactly where we wanted, near decent cafés and shops, and the windows did a great job blocking noise while the fan gave a nice breeze when we kept the window shut. On the downside, the rooms are overpriced for what they offer, and the bathrooms need work—chipped tiles, holes in the skirting, etc.—so in warm weather it would be uncomfortable without air conditioning.
