Everything was perfect—staff, room, breakfast all matched a high‑end hotel, making this place far beyond a typical B&B. The only downside was that we had to leave.

Easby Hall is gorgeous, the grounds superb, and the room offered a fantastic view of the Abbey; the owner, Karen, was welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast featured all locally sourced, homemade items. However, Easby Hall isn’t really a country house hotel as advertised; it’s more of an upscale B&B, so bar service and other amenities depend entirely on the host’s availability, with no other staff present.

I’ve stayed at many places worldwide, but Easby Hall was a truly splendid experience; I highly recommend it for anyone seeking something unforgettable, with cozy rooms, wonderful beds, and delicious breakfast. Karen, the host, is a sweet, kind lady who engages in delightful conversation, making me feel at home. I’ve already booked a second stay for next weekend because I love this place and want to see it again.
