Our Superior room on the top floor was spacious and well equipped: comfortable beds, an extra sofa bed, a large balcony, a bathroom with a big shower, satellite TV with many German channels, a fridge, and a kettle with a selection of coffee pods and tea bags. At breakfast we would have liked a darker loaf in addition to baguette and toast.

The three‑night stay worked, but the program seemed aimed at an older crowd, fitting the audience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms stayed very clean. However, when Show Cooking was advertised, the food prepared didn’t fill all guests.

The cleanliness and location of the facility were good, and there was no pressure to buy expensive drinks at dinner. A point of contact was always available. The couch used as a third sleeping spot was not very comfortable; it was relatively short (about 180 cm) and one half was very soft (cushioned), while the other half was noticeably firmer. The double bed was very comfortable. In the shower, a shelf for soap, shampoo, etc. would have been nice.
