“Good location, clean but no air con.”
Location, room size, bed comfort, hot water. No air conditioning and no safe way to open windows from the first floor.

The location was good, but when I arrived after a long day of traveling, Fabian helped me check in for two nights. The first thing I did in my room was take a shower, but when I came out I found stained towels, so I used a clean one instead. I then went to bed, only to notice dust and a blonde hair on the nightstand, so I checked the sheets and pillows and found more hairs. I immediately called the front desk and Fabian apologized, sent housekeeping to clean, and offered to move me to another room, but I had already unpacked and was too tired. Room service was even worse: they answered the phone twice, and when I called Fabian the third time he transferred me, but again there was no answer. I called him again and he said he would personally request them to call me. They eventually placed my order and it arrived quickly, but the food was horrible: the vegetables were undercooked, the potatoes were old and soggy with no flavor, and the bread was hard and looked like leftovers from breakfast. In the morning I wanted to leave the hotel and stay elsewhere, and when I explained my experience to the manager she asked if I had taken pictures of everything I was saying. Then she asked me to cancel my reservation on Booking to process a refund for the night I wasn’t going to be there, and I did; now Booking says they refuse to refund the money for the unused night.

The pool and rooms were lovely, the staff were helpful, and the restaurant food was very good, but a staff member entered our room while we were still in bed long before check‑out, and the bathroom was tiny even though the room was large.
The staff were excellent, but the shower water was lukewarm.
