The natural surroundings were a real highlight, but the stay was marred by a lot of mess. The mattresses were stiff and squeaked every time you moved, and there were spider webs, actual spiders, and dust on the furniture. The bathroom smelled awful. The layout was a nightmare: all the bedrooms were on one level, the kitchen was below them, and the patio with the BBQ was far away, so we had to make about ten trips to bring plates and glasses to the dinner table.

Everything you need for a relaxing break was there, and the place was pretty chill. The only real downside was that the mattresses were noisy and the overall cleanliness could use a bit more attention.

The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, and the place had all the basics you’d expect. The only thing that bothered me was the squeaky beds, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

“Need maintenance”

A nice wooden country house with a decent-sized pool. Unfortunately, the listing was misleading – it advertised four bedrooms plus a living room, but there were only three bedrooms. Cleanliness was spotty: surfaces looked okay, but everything else was sticky and dirty, even the plates and cutlery. Cobwebs were everywhere, some cupboard doors were missing, and the mattresses were on the soft side.

I liked that the place had everything for a vacation – a BBQ area, a tavern, and a pool with loungers. But it was really dirty, even the plates were greasy. The mattresses squeaked a lot, so even a little movement woke me up from the noise. The pool was fine at first, but on the second day the water turned green and became unusable.
