We stayed in the apartment on the side of the property, which had a separate entrance to the main building, and it was an exceptional value; nothing was lacking.

The staff were friendly, the large family room suited our two‑night stay, the nights were quiet, extra tea was provided on request, and a fridge was in the room, yet the beds were a bit lumpy and there was no information in the room about the area or nearest shop.

The location is great, parking is plentiful, and although breakfast isn’t offered, a nearby café opens at 8am with a good‑value breakfast; the room matched the photos and was clean, but some fixtures were a bit worn and need repair or replacement, and the single room advertised is up a lot of narrow steps, so consider mobility issues.
