Very cozy, super quiet spot with a great view, an excellent starting point for hikes and day trips. The rooms are beautiful with balconies. The terrace for breakfast is wonderful. The breakfast buffet is very generous with everything you could wish for, and gluten‑free options are also available. The hostess is extremely kind and helpful, and dogs are very welcome!

The place feels very welcoming with a cozy atmosphere typical of central European villages. The owner is incredibly kind, everything is spotless, and the room is spacious though the bathroom is small but I’m not calling it a flaw. If you love savory breakfasts, this is the best spot with a full range to try. I also recommend it for its convenient location near the famous tourist spot of Triberg—definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is fantastic, especially the lovely owner who goes above and beyond to provide suitable alternatives for my father‑in‑law’s food intolerances. The breakfast was delicious, and anyone who can’t find a suitable option elsewhere will have to go to a five‑star hotel. We’ll definitely return to the Fischerhaus whenever we’re in the Black Forest. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
