Grand Hotel Gozo

The outdoor pool was nice, but the hotel is very old. The bathroom cleanliness was poor (dirty ceiling, black grout, etc.), I was woken at 8 am by a cleaning lady, and when I arrived in the evening the room still hadn’t been cleaned.

“Perfect stay in a perfect location”

We liked everything about this hotel: the location and harbour views were amazing, the room was big, airy, clean, and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. There was nothing to complain about.

“Taking into consideration that one is paying €300 per night, this Hotel is not a value for money.”

The rooms were roomy and the beds comfy, the pool area and its service were solid, and the food by the pool was tasty. However, the rooms weren’t cleaned properly, missing finishing touches like fresh paint on furniture, and dust gathered in corners of furniture and floors. The foyer and elevator area felt like a 1970/80 Rome hotel, clearly needing refurbishment and new paint. Breakfast was generous but lacked quality, especially the continental spread. The broken bath beds need replacement, the pool area and its washing rooms need a thorough clean, and the artificial turf by the pool should be fixed or replaced because it’s a tripping hazard.
