“Below average motel - convenient but noisey”

It was just off the main road (convenient but noisy), easy to find, but very basic. An extra blanket was needed because it was cold that night; the host couldn’t provide one, and even when I asked to leave one for us, there were no extra blankets.

The microwave, fridge and kettle were decent, but there was no reception desk or check‑in instructions, and even after contacting the hotel through booking multiple times I received no response. The air conditioner was non‑functional; when I called the number they told me to go to the meter box and flip the switches. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly and the heat lamps in the bathroom were broken. The price felt steep for the accommodation offered.

I appreciated that pets were allowed, but overall the place could use better upkeep.

The shower provided hot water, yet the accommodation felt very basic and the highway noise was overwhelming.
