Inn at the Old Jail

“I was happy with the Inn at the Old Jail and I would recommend.”

The location was good and we didn’t have to travel far, though we preferred using an Uber for convenience. The place was quiet with almost no other guests, making it a unique stay. The rooms were basic: no TV or fridge, but a TV and fridge were available in the common areas.

The hotel looks amazing—wow! Just go and take pictures. The beds are very comfortable and the room is well equipped. The location is great and there’s parking on the street. The room was on the second floor, which we didn’t know beforehand. I have trouble climbing stairs, so it’s important to be told in advance that the room isn’t accessible. Even though we were told ahead of time, there was no breakfast because there were no nearby options, only a car.

“Fantastic , mystical , and vibrant New Orleans vibe . If you want an adventure this is the place !”

The whole place had a great vibe, with stylish décor and a fascinating history; the terrace was fantastic! I’m convinced the owner is a vampire, because some guests claimed to hear nightly sounds that sounded like those who had already crossed over. Throughout our stay we only met one couple, that was on the first night; after that, no one was seen in daylight or evening, only sounds. The bed was super comfy, and the entire property stayed spotless and well maintained. The only downside? The mystery itself.

“Great Inn with character, excellent and responsive staff”

The venue was quiet, the bed was comfy, and the basic amenities made it feel like home. Nothing else to add.

“We loved the Inn! It was such a unique B&B experience, and Todd was easy to communicate with!”

We missed breakfast, but I’m sure it was excellent.
