“Great resort, best to visit during peak season.”

The resort is solid, with great facilities and staff who are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, especially with the 2nd for 1 TBH deal, and the pool right in front of our accommodation was a highlight. It did feel a bit deserted, probably because it’s off‑season, and the pool bar was closed, so the resort lacked a bit of vibe. We booked for three people but only received two of each item—towels, cups, etc.—in our room, which was a little odd.

I liked almost everything except the off‑season price. I learned there were a lot of rats, though I didn’t see them myself, but I did see the parents and the little one who got bitten. I know rats are a big problem in Thailand, but I didn’t expect that in a hotel of this standing. Also we struggled to find the hotel because it changed its name; we wanted to know that earlier. If you type the old address you end up behind the hotel where I saw the rats. The price was the only negative.

“Good place overall but sound insulation is terrible, not adviced for people with sensitive sleep.”

Breakfast was good, the pool was fine, and the beach location is convenient. There is no sound insulation at all—at night you can hear someone opening doors or watching TV, and there are a lot of roosters. They wake you up at night and scream until morning, so you can’t sleep at all.

There are many pools and the place is close to the beach. The gym facilities are a bit poor, and the pillows are too big.
