Everything was special, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and for the first time ever everything functioned smoothly—no need to fight or call around to get things fixed. The lamb shank was the best I’ve ever had, and I could keep eating it. The only downside was the invoicing for the room from the restaurant and bar being a bit disorganized, and the skaapstertjies were rubbery, though the sauce or accompanying dish was amazing.

The location was great, the facilities looked well maintained and fresh even though I didn’t use them much, and I can’t think of any negatives.

A stunning hotel in a charming town; the rooms are superb with very comfortable bedding, and the staff are truly welcoming. The golden gates are a 20‑minute drive away, while the city and restaurant are less than a 10‑minute walk.
