We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rita. The room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained, the food was excellent, and the pool area was a great place to relax. The staff were also very friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The central heating was not working during our stay, which was inconvenient and affected our comfort – not critical but worth mentioning.

“A Beautiful Alpine Stay with Some Disappointments”

The spot was gorgeous, right in the heart of the Alps, and the hotel had a nice spread of spa services, saunas, steam rooms, and a pool. The massage therapist—she went by “Priga,” though I might have misspelled it—was amazing, and I’d definitely recommend her. On the downside, the rooms across the hall looked modern and updated, while mine felt noticeably older; the bathroom, sink, bed, and furniture all looked dated, so I felt I’d been given a lower‑tier room. I also received a complimentary drink card that I forgot to use. When I asked at checkout if its value could be applied as a credit toward a drink, the receptionist said no, with no explanation or alternative offered. I didn’t want to argue over €7, but the inflexibility was disappointing.

Everything was perfect on our fourth stay at Rita—family‑friendly, passionate staff, and an unmatched breakfast. The location in the Ötztal is unbeatable, great for cycling, and all kinds of e‑bikes are free.
