Hotel Condado de Miranda

“MUY RECONENDABLE”

I landed right at the entrance of Miranda Del Castañar, a quiet spot yet close to the historic center. The breakfast and dinner menus were hearty and inexpensive. We had to book dinner, because the village restaurant told us they didn’t serve dinner, so we returned to the hotel at 21:00 and were served without issue. The garlic prawns were amazing and the steak was spectacular. We had booked a room with two 90‑cm beds, but when we arrived they told us the double‑bed room was cancelled and gave us that instead. The staff—both receptionists and waiters—were truly professional. The only downside was that the bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower, and the gel and shampoo were in paper sachets, which was very inconvenient.

My partner and I stayed two nights. The hotel was comfortable and well‑located, with many charming villages nearby such as La Alberca, Mogarraz, Miranda del Castañar, and Sequeros. There is no hair dryer, and the shower gel comes in just a couple of sachets. I’d suggest bringing your own bathroom accessories (gel, dryer, etc.), though you can probably ask for them at the hotel.

“Buena ubicación y muy agradables”

The staff were very friendly. It would be nice to have breakfast a bit later and a more varied evening menu.

The facilities were great, exceeding my expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was good quality and reasonably priced, and the place felt very welcoming and calm. Nothing to add.
