I recently stayed at this quirky little gem and it truly lived up to the description! The layout of the place was thoughtfully arranged, making it both functional and enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made for a very comfortable stay. Ali, our host, was absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. I can’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back for another stay.

The character, climate, and attention to detail were remarkable. Ali created a space that transported you through time. The warmth of a fire lit in the evening, the scent of candles, raindrops hitting the material lining of the yurt, and the lighting made it probably the best stay of my life. The bed was huge and very comfortable, a real highlight. The surrounding area was wonderful; Ali’s yurt is just steps from the shore of two connected lakes, Loch Voil and Loch Doine. The lakes are off the main road, so you feel private, and the wandering sheep give the stay a true Scottish feel. All of that considered, staying with Ali can only be described as a hidden gem! Nothing was imperfect.
