“Disappointment is a under statement..”
The location is fine. Where do I start… 🤔 When I booked this questionable 5‑star hotel, the listing said it shared a property with Panorama Property Services. The hotel actually has private apartments not owned by the hotel, and the people in the next room had rented the room privately from an independent owner. We thought we were going to a 5‑star hotel, not an apartment block with a few hotel rooms. After speaking with housekeeping, they told me that different cleaning companies service rooms depending on who you stay with. We didn’t feel safe knowing many people who weren’t guests were staying in nearby rooms, so noise from those rooms couldn’t be addressed by the hotel. The room had worn, damaged wallpaper, dirty walls, and a balcony door that lacked an exterior handle, making it impossible to open from the balcony side. The front of the property was chaotic—no organization, no security, no traffic control. Because the property houses many other units, there were many people roaming the floors. The lifts were inadequate; in high season you could wait 30 minutes. This is a design flaw from the architects. There are two pools, but the 40th‑floor pool is not owned by the hotel, and you’re only allowed to use the rooftop pool once a day. We used it once but felt the standard was very low, with broken tiles and concrete.
