Nice interior, friendly staff, well‑maintained wellness area, top restaurant (air‑conditioned), motorcycle garage; a fan would help on a 40 °C hot day, as the room was insanely hot.

Wonderful family‑driven hotel with a luxury spacious room, nice spa, delicious dinner food, reasonable prices, terrific drinks, great wine selection, and an outstanding breakfast; the family’s warm welcome from the start made staying here a blast. It was our first wizard and definitely not our last one! Not staying longer was a mistake; it’s a great place, and we’re already planning our next visit.

Room and equipment were perfect. If we return, we won’t want to be in front of the railway tracks or road traffic, especially motorcyclists. We had an excellent meal and especially liked the surprise entrée for two and the same in dessert. The breakfast bread was lacking—no normal bread for good toast. Also consider French‑speaking guests for TV programs; you have France and Swiss Romandy speaking French, yet usually only ARTE is available or the language must be changed each time.

The food was excellent, the room was clean and pleasant, and the sauna area offered plenty of quiet spots; the staff were very friendly. The glass bathroom is a bit of a character, and the open window can be noisy because the hotel sits right on the railway line.
