The owners are kind, the place is clean, and the location is charming because even though boats are docked on the beach, it adds character and there are many other spots to swim peacefully. Absolutely nothing else!

The hotel is right in front of the beach, but the walking street is very dark and difficult to navigate because of construction work and no street lights.

Every day the room is top‑cleaned. A shower curtain keeps the whole bathroom from getting wet. The location is great—quiet yet central. The beach is nice and the breakfast buffet is varied. The shower near the beach (at least in the ladies’ area) was broken. Next door there’s a construction site; we were told the Wapi Resort will only last another year because the lease expires. Then it will probably be demolished like the neighboring property and several plots will be built into a large hotel complex. It’s a pity.

Everything is amazing: the room, the reception, the café, the surrounding area—all beautiful. They provided kayaking and snorkeling gear, and even a bicycle. Superb! The resort could use more lighting at night.

I love Wapi so much; it faces the sea, with fine white sand, and every morning I open the curtains to a beautiful view. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly! Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Wapi’s snorkeling is very convenient, and the gear and life jackets are free. Renting a kayak isn’t expensive. It’s close to two islands. If you do nothing, lounging on the hammocks at the hotel entrance and watching the sea is a great option. The lady who runs the sea‑fishing shop can also help arrange things! The price is reasonable. When the tide comes back late, the lady worries. Oh my! I really love Wapi! I’ll definitely choose it again when I visit Lipe Island. I haven’t stayed at any other hotels on the island. I like the people here. I will keep choosing Wapi. By the way, the massage shop next to Wapi is also reasonably priced and very comfortable. Highly recommended.
