Located off Interstate 5, the Hercor Hotel - Urban Boutique in Chula Vista offers contemporary rooms with free WiFi, flat-screen cable TVs, and modern design. The hotel is very good, very beautiful, clean, and the amenities are good. A small plus is the coffee machine – it’s nice to drink an espresso in the USA! It’s a 10‑minute drive from the SeaPort, which is nice for spending an evening there. Overall, everything was very good, but the check‑in reception was a bit odd, with no smiles from the two people and it felt like talking to robots.

I stayed at this wonderful gem of a hotel while attending a convention at the Gaylord. It’s a short 10‑minute walk away. The Hercor exceeded my expectations in every way. I was greeted upon check‑in with a cooled lobby, a wonderful fragrance, fresh apples, a cold bottle of water, and most importantly a genuine smile. The room was stylish in every way and very clean. Although there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room, there was access to those in a secure cafe area 24/7. The bed and pillows were the MOSSST comfortable I have ever had. I travel the world and rank this hidden gem as my favorite. Thank you Elva, Evelyn, Cecelia, Eduardo and Emie. You ran the front desk with excellence during all shifts. The bouquet from Kolibri Flower Lab in Chula Vista. They deliver. I ordered a lovely bouquet. It took me days to figure out the thermostat. Until then, it was too cold for me overnight. I would shut it off then turn it back on when it became too hot. I still couldn’t tell you how I finally set it to my preferred temp. It was not as easy as selecting up or down on the panel.

Easy to find, friendly staff, comfortable room, just perfect for what we needed! There's parking and breakfast in the morning for a decent price. Also, a warm welcome with a beverage of your choice!. Nothing!

The hotel is in a good location and the staff is friendly and helpful. The tram stop (to go to Mexico or San Diego) is less than 10 minutes on foot. Around the area there’s practically everything: restaurants, shops, shopping centers, and the indispensable 7Eleven always open. I contacted the property via email and Booking multiple times without ever getting a response. The room’s soundproofing was terrible; I could hear the neighbor’s TV even when I was watching at normal volume, and the only window faced the balcony, so I had to keep the curtains drawn all the time.
