The taxi driver was very kind, and Chris is a treasure. He welcomed us immediately and offered food on the way. At the house, they welcomed us warmly and gave us water. It’s convenient for a short stop. The location was inconvenient and the road was disconnected to get there. The bathroom had a bad odor. It wasn’t clear that it was inside a house and shared with the owners, so it would have been nice to know that in advance. Otherwise everything was fine.

I showed up at 2 am and the staff greeted me warmly. Since it was too early for check‑in, they let me use the living room couch, which was quite comfortable. By noon the room was cleaned and ready, so I could rest well. The staff, especially Karen, were very accommodating to travelers’ needs. They also serve excellent meals if you want to try Ugali and Sukuma Wiki. In the shower, there was no place to hang clothes or towels; a few hooks would have been useful.
