The hotel management called us 24 hours before our arrival to inform us that the air conditioning in the hotel Tex was broken, so they moved us to another hotel in the same chain. That hotel also fell short because the toilet valve was broken, forcing us to be transferred again to a different room within that same hotel.

The initial check‑in was handled by an employee. The apartment had an old, unmaintained air‑conditioning unit and a leaking sink that left the bathroom floor perpetually wet.

The hotel sits close to the train station, which made getting around easy, and the air conditioning in our room worked fine. That was probably all we liked. The rooms were dark, only one bath towel was provided for two people, the furniture was old, and the mini‑fridge failed to chill the water. Breakfast was very basic; the juice was heavily diluted with water and the cold cuts weren’t particularly fresh. The hallway carpet was stained. We stayed just one night, and honestly we’re glad it was only that long. After traveling around Italy for two weeks, this was by far the worst three‑star hotel we stayed at during the entire trip, in every respect.

The room was spacious and clean, and the location was easy to reach from Termini station. We received all the information we needed from reception. We had no complaints.
