The spot is superb, right in the middle of Petite France, and the room we received was excellent with a splendid view. The restoration is very beautiful and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite, ready to give recommendations for nearby restaurants, directions, etc. The check‑in was late; even for a busy city like Strasbourg, 16.00 pm is very late. I have a hip problem and asked for priority check‑in; the staff promised to do their best but I never got a call to allow me an earlier arrival. An insulation defect with one of the windows had no impact on our stay because the weather was mild, though I’m not sure how it would have affected a cold winter night.
