The apartment sits right in nature, so the location feels different depending on what you’re after; Ciudad Rodrigo is just a 5‑minute drive away and parking at Plaza de Abastos is very convenient. It was a lovely experience, but the owner’s cleanliness and attitude left something to be desired.

Getting there was easy, everything was spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very attentive, arrived before us, and we didn’t have to wait; we arrived at night, the fireplace was lit, and the place felt cozy. No noise, quiet and comfortable for rest, though the sofa wasn’t very comfortable, which is a minor issue.

I love this type of accommodation: a loft with an open‑concept, minimalist design, well maintained and furnished with everything needed to feel cozy. Cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, mop), cooking items (pots, pans, glasses, mugs, plates, trays, cutlery, ladles, colander, strainer, even a sponge, soap, and microfiber cloth) were provided. The fridge and freezer had a container for making ice. The bedroom area had a wardrobe, mirror, and outlets near the headboard, great for charging devices. The bathroom was spacious with towels, soap, hair dryer, toilet paper, and a TV. The area is quiet and less than 10 minutes from Ciudad Rodrigo for groceries and personal items. The host was friendly, attentive, always ready, and gave clear directions to avoid wasting time and keep the itinerary on track. Both we and the pet felt very comfortable. The TV signal kept dropping frequently while we were there, making it hard to watch a full episode as the picture would freeze or cut out.

It’s a new apartment, very well equipped, a very good bed, a spacious and comfortable bathroom, a large and well‑equipped kitchen; Victor is a charming and friendly person. Everything we liked.
