We had to pay almost 16 dollars to park in the parking lot for one night, and we will not stay there again. The parking fee was the problem.

Breakfast was pretty solid, but parking was a mess— the lady at reception claimed it wasn’t included because it’s a third‑party car park, yet when I followed up they admitted it was included. I’m still waiting for the issue to be resolved and for a refund of the parking fee I had to pay.

We’ve come to this area many times for Ironman, and while the hotel sits downtown, getting to the riverfront requires a drive; the walk is possible but not easy for everyone. Our stay fell short on several fronts: the shower curtain was too short, letting water flood the bathroom and spill into the hallway; the pull‑out couch’s mattress was thin, worn, and stained, making sleep uncomfortable; the road beside the hotel sounded like a drag strip, with constant exhaust noise at all hours, ruining rest. To top it off, housekeeping arrived before 9 a.m. on checkout day, adding to our frustration after a long race. The overall lack of comfort, excessive noise, and poorly timed housekeeping made this a disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking a restful experience. Parking cost an extra $14 daily for a standard lot. The hotel’s claim that the aquarium and art museum are within walking distance is misleading unless you’re willing to walk a couple of miles each way.

The facilities were good. Things happened that made my wife and I very uncomfortable and staff on site did not take seriously. No refund but had to change hotels. Did not feel safe
